SMUCF(Singapore Management University Christian Fellowship) camp rocks!

Everyday we wake up to immerse ourselves with the Word-Colossians, The Ultimate Qualification.

Col 2:6-7
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built in him, strengthen in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness"

The fellowship was great!

Day 1
For icebreakers, we played "Squirrel & Tree" and "Husbands and Wives". Haha for the latter, it's not double wacko if that's what you think. How the game goes is like this, there'll still be an inner and outer circle. The 'wives' are the inner circle people and 'husbands' the outer. The game starts with the 'husband' without a wife and what the 'husband' have to do is to call the names of the 'wives' in the inner circle and the 'wives' have to try to escape from their 'husbands' to the one who called them without being called back which is done by a simple tap.

For outdoor games, we played Frisbe and Captain's ball at Fort Canning Park. Because there were 5 groups, my group happene to be the bench group till we decided to form another team by taking out some players from other teams so that there'll be 6 teams to play around with. My group only got to play Captain's ball! Haha we didn't keep track of points hence erasing competitiveness. We all had tremendous fun!

For supper, we went to this Tao Hui eating house at Rochor(by walking). Yummy! There we talked more and there I made more acquaintances.

Day 2
For the workshop, we learnt about Making the Right Choices in SMU. Learning point: We should make decisions that'll help us to be more Christ-like.

More games! We played Captain's ball at the Sports Hall in the Admin Building! There we didn't have the same problem as day 1 cause we numbered off 1-4 and everyone got mixed up. I was glad that my team was strong, we played well. *grins*

For supper, we went to this Prata house. I ordered Chicken Chop. Everything was good except the coleslaw which tasted so bitter and plastic! Ahahaha!

After supper, we played SABOTEUR! SUPER FUN! *people go check it out* I was on Saboteur luck! FUN FUN FUN!

Day 3
LAST Night!
I stayed up till 5am. Hahaha!
Played Saboteur and Moods. WAH MOODS is another FUN game! It's about saying lines that may not make sense in the mood you chose for yourself by shaking the die, the number you see corresponding to the mood cards layed out on the board. According to your acting, players will bet 1-4. If players bet correctly, they'll move ahead by the number chips(of 12,3 or 4)that they bet. Bet wrongly, it goes the opposite. For the actor/actress, he/she moves by the number of players that got it right. FUN!!

After a few games of MOODS, some of us decided to continue off the game by practising our acting, picking random cards and choosing off the board the mood we want to say the lines in and letting others guess the mood.

Then it was jokes jokes and more jokes. I'm really amazed that some have really good jokes bank.Hahaha!

Day 4
Ended with lunch together at this Jap place! Yummy! Sushi and beef don!

Honestly, what's good for me about this camp is not the messages/sharing/workshops but the fellowship. Fellowship; Talking about God, sharing about our lives, playing games. I'm really glad I went for the camp as I have made so many new friends, well not just friends but fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
